I think you actually mean a Viscount 200, which was a middleweight bike in the late 50's/early 60's. It came in 26" and 24" models. It did have their Flightline tank and Flightdeck carrier, but had painted rims and fenders instead of chrome. It was at the lower end of their models. As for the value, it would depend on condition and completeness. A nice middleweight, but not worth a fortune!

I need some help ID'ing an old cruiser single speed frame. Obviously the handlebars, and the wheels/tires are new. Other than that...there is a space for a head badge with two holes on the head tube...thats all I know...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at lexluthier72@yahoo.com with any info. Thanks -Erin

I agree a '50s Monark. the give aways are the sprocket, fork, frame design, the single bar at top right behind the seat, and at bottom behind the crank housing, and especially the tag on the bottom which says Monark Silverking. it looks like a Super Deluxe, or a Firestone Super Cruiser. hope this helps you.

MISC:   Schwinn Hornet rear axle size posted by: frank on 5/21/2006 at 1:25:48 PM
My LBS is having trouble locating a rear axle for a 49 Schwinn hornet. Its a New Departure single speed coaster brake hub. Does anyone know the exact thread size and or availabilty of this axle? My neighbor is a machinist so I can go that route if I have to.

I collect old gas pumps, not bikes, but I picked this up today, and I have no idea of make, model, age or value. Help please. 26 inch, new departure rear hub, and tension adjusters at the rear wheel. Also notice the "bracket" at the gooseneck. My camera leaves a lot to be desired, but I can provide better pics if needed. Any ideas?

Thanks Scott. That seems to be the general thoughts of the folks that have replied.
