AGE / VALUE:   Western Flyer Super Help posted by: Doug on 10/21/2007 at 4:48:13 PM
I have a Western Flyer mens Super bicycle and I have been thinking about putting it on an auction site. Can anyone give me an opinion on a reserve to put on th ebike. I really do not know the value of it and I really don't want to give it away.
It has rear - right and left turn signals, springer front end, tank and horn. It is green and chrome - fair condition - rides awesome all original including the tires ( from what I have learned ) they are in great shape. Tires are 26 X 2.125.
Thanks for any opinions. I know this can be a wide open question and I am just hoping to get some valuable opinions.
Thanks again,
Doug

does anyone know the maker of this bike and its year,it has a 1942 stamp on what I believe is NOT an original saddle,it is skiptooth and has a serial # under bottom bracket,#47717 with a letter C under it,was told it is a schwinn, but I suspect differently also has an (H M Co.)forged into crankarm, chainring is noticable, but I have not seen one in my search?thanks in advance, rak
