BALLOON:Evans Colson Sonic scout springer ? posted by: AJ on 12/29/2006 at 9:24:02 AM
I picked up a lot of 6 vintage bikes and have pinned down most info on them but am having trouble finding pics or info on a evans/colson sonic scout, it is a ladies bike in good shape and mostly original, tires aren't and maybe rims. It has a very unique springer fork with a missle wing that moves in and out as the fork moves. It also has a tank with rockets in the graphics. Any known websites, guys to talk to or any colson groups that could help me. On a second note I also got a Murray Missle ladies tank bike in the group, any info on that out there. I am looking for original pics on both, possibly parts to purchase, value ranges for both bikes. Thanks for you help. Email me at jylha@paulbunyan.net with any info or reply here.

MISC:Wipperman Pedals? posted by: Julie on 12/28/2006 at 8:58:49 PM
Does anyone know what these pedals are? I sold them on Ebay thinking they were Wipperman DiamondBlock pedals but the recipient disagreed once he received them. I can't find anything on these and would like to know what they are. They have a "W" inside of a "C" on one side and say "Made in West Germany" on the other side. Please follow the link to the picture. Once you get to the picture, you can click on another picture of these pedals. Thanks for your help!

Hi Joe, I couln't get your email to work with mine. There's a company called hyper-formance.com , they have a kit with Schwinn colors including coppertone. Much less headaches
