I HAVE AN OLD COLUMBIA 26" SPRING LOADED FRONT FORK BIKE THAT I FISHED OUT OF THE DUMP SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND PUT BACK ON THE ROAD IN 1993.I WAS ALSO ABLE TO FIND A STEWART WARNER SPEEDOMETER TO GO WITH IT. DOES NOT GO VERY FAST BUT I HAVE TAKEN IT TO NEW HAVEN, CT FROM MY HOME IN WALLINGFORD. IT WAS A NICE DAY SO I RODE IT TO WORK. I HOPE OTHERS ARE HAVING FUN WITH THEIRS.

Wow. Nice find. Too bad you'll never be able to ride it. You GOTTA leave it in the box. Worth large $!

I'd ask someone at Copake Auction for an appraisal. Another method is to list on ebay with a high reserve, and see how far it goes.

I have picked up an old Schwinn Skiptooth chain bike with the serial number on botom of crank C73947. Any idea how oled this bike is. It is in bad shape but restorable. The Headbadge has an Airplane on top Schwinn in the middle a train on the bottom and says Chicago. I believe the headbadge is aluminum. Appreciate any info.

I have a Concord Trailmaster 15 serial #5099321. Under that number are GO485. the bike was Made in Taiwan and figure it to be somewhere from the 80's. I can't find anything on this bike or the company that built them. I also had a Concord Raven 12 speed. I just need some info on Concord bikes and/or the company. Any info you can give would be helpful. Thanks, Jack

They were made by the Kuwahara bike company of Japan. They were the manufacturer for other companies too. I've got a Cocord Freedom Deluxe Selecta 12 and was just in the process of trying to find out where it came from when I stumbled across your message. Hope that helps, but I can't seem to find any other info either.
