Hello there,

I have a Norwood Custom Middleweight, red in good shape. Seems to be all original. White grips say "Trim Grip", front steel rat trap carrier, full red fenders, 26x1.75 Toledo White Walls, no markings on hub, Serial # is a capital I, P, or R, on side bottom of BB Shell and then 6287835 in center of shell. Any info would be appreciated.

Regards,
Craig

Gene, have you got any pictures? 28 by what? You got me curious. Schwinn quit using 28" singletube tires in about 1933...
Also, you can always go to nostalgic.net and look at their photo archives and try to find similar looking machines.

MIDDLEWEIGHT:   tank identification posted by: jlloyd on 1/28/2008 at 12:56:46 AM
I'm trying to identify what make, model, year, etc of a tank that a friend recently gave me. The tank is approx 15" long, 3" tall and only about an inch wide. It looks like it would mount ON TOP of the frame tube and is anchored in the front at the head tube. It's Red in color with a white wing graphic, with an "H" that is enclosed in a circle. I've been looking everywhere for some help. Maybe someone here can identify it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like it might be from a Hedstrom childrens bike.
