Hi, I have a 1954 Schwinn Starlet that I am trying to restore. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can get the proper Holiday Rose and Summer White Cloud paint. Also, if anyone knows where you can get the decals for a bike like this? Thank you, Kyla
http://www.memorylane-classics.com/ Call them, they dont email. They have most everything you need for that bike. I dont know about paint though.
Thank you!!
I have come to own a vintage bicycle for which I have no information. The nameplate says "Heidemann Works" "Hanover". The name on the chain guard is "Rotorjet". I've collected all of the parts and have re-assembled the bicycle. It is all original, including rims, tires and tubes. Unfortunatley I am unable to find any information on this bike. I would assume it in the late 40's or 50's era. CAN ANYONE HELP
You have a German bike & it will be hard, but not impossible, to get info on it in English. You will just have to saerch online & see if you can get help. Use " Heidemann Fahrrad " in your search. Fahrrad = bicycle in German.
an oddly framed bike with 20 in rims with M15267X10776439 on left side by back tire ???
You're going to have to post a picture to get any help on this. More than one manufacturer has used serial numbers of that length, and even with the builder's name you shouldn't expect to get model info from the serial#.
The red Schwinn is a 69, by the way. That's in the chart on this site. The cruiser is an '82, if it's a Chicago bike.
what year is schwinn cruiser with serial number by front emblem marked KS531527 ???

red girls schwinn 20 in rim with E79 on back right side of frame and EE59153 on left side ???
and a frame similar to a classic style schwinn except one bar under one bar rather than the typical two smaller bars under a bigger bar. i know it has a grease nozzle on top of crank casing and has 8H13?120 ( and yes, i don't have any idea what the 5th digit/letter is. looks like a big mouthed six or an oddly shaped G. ) ???
