Has anyone ever heard of a early bmx bike made by a company called A&A racing??

Thanks

Yes,and I honestly don't know much about them other than I beleive they were the first "modern"dimond shaped frame made just for BMX.Before that schwinn stingrays were the ticket and I can tell you from experience those were hard bikes to get performance from. They were made well back in the 70's although Im not sure when.Back around 78'or 79'I had a neighbor who had a friend who had one and it was an old bike back then, these guys were oldschoolers back then who had moved on to motorcycles. If I remember correctly it looked like a webco with a simular construtction of heavy duty steel welded with a gusset up front at the head tube.that one bike over twenty years ago was the only one I've ever seen.

Jon, The reason I asked was that when I was at A&A racing last week to pick up some motorcycle parts, the bikes were hanging on the wall of the shop. I asked the owner of A&A about them and he told me the whole story kinda cool. A&A was in to flat track motorcycles before the bikes, the bikes were sorta a side line deal for them. Now all I have to do is get him to parts with one.

Thanks
Kim

Thanks for the info on A&A I didn't know they were still around.Me and a friend are also interested in an A&A,how can I contact them? I tried looking them up on the net but didn't have any luck. It's hard to beleive he still has some of those hanging around after all these years.

AGE / VALUE:   what the? posted by: George Stage on 8/8/2001 at 6:41:32 AM
For $5 yester day I picked up a pair of mags. whooop de crap right? Well would someone please tell me how old these ones are? They are cast aluminum (yes aluminum), 7 spoke, and are black. They are made by morris. They have other things written on them but im at work now and can only remember that much. One front and one back w/coaster brake. If someone could tell me what year these were made or what bike they were usually found on I'd appreciate it. I've just never seen cast alum mags. Thanks.

AGE / VALUE:   old school mongoose "Eric Rupe" posted by: Matthew on 8/4/2001 at 7:04:24 PM
I have an old mongoose that was given to me by a friend. I have it in storage at the moment so i can't be certain, but I believe it is an "Eric Rupe" signature model, and it was built in Moorpark California. It is 100% original with 3 piece gold Sugino cranks and Mongoose/Tuff neck componentry. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me the approximate age and value. I am not interested in selling though, thanks.
