I have a redline pl20 700b. There are part of a line of bikes from redline. Made in the early 80's I believe the top of the line was the 600b(not sure if it was a "b"). The 700b was a mid range bike (I'm talking about price) most of the frame are pretty close in looks but the parts where what change between the series. They also made a
frame/fork series that were in the same line but they only sold as the set a and not built. I have a pl20 120b f/ff set never built and still has the factory tag on it. It was the 50th built. they where one of the most popular lines back then. I know because I wanted to buy the 120b and build it up. I was only 13 and could get $415.00 for the f/ff to start the project. As far as your 400 I was woundering what parts are on it and if they are original. If it has original flight cranks then it maybe the better of the line. I would be interest and knowing send an email.

Chrome Reline V bars- Cro Mo or high tensile
Dia Compe 890 rear brake, with long lever
Thanks,

Let me know what the brakes look like.

RE:RE:WANTED:   Redline 500a parts needed posted by Mike on 2/11/2002 at 8:46:35 PM
They look like 890's. To tell if you have a set of them, flip the arms over and look for the model stamp(ie, FS880's say 880, etc.). Pretty popular on GT Mach Ones and other entry level rides of the day.

RE:FOR SALE:   NOS GT and Hutch Stuff posted by Bill on 2/6/2002 at 9:37:50 PM
Thanks guys I'm glad you like it. I built it up as an Eddie Fiola replica, but due to a lack of space, it needs to go.

As far as wheel go, depending what you're looking for there always eBay. Or if you looking for Skyway's, try any a bike shop. Skyway made so many in 80's there're are tons of overstock left.

Tony-
Stick Em Up had 86 Performer sticker packs for the longest time out on their website... I went to see if they still had them, but they either took them down (along with the rest of their sticker packs) or stopped printing them (doubtful). I'd try them. That is if you are talking about a GT of that vintage...
It's funny to see people trying to sell Stick Em Up sticker packs on Ebay for profit... :) At least the people that do repros of Trick Stars etc. are cool enough to state that they are not NOS.
