I'd be intrested too, if you were thinking of selling.. Even if your not send me some pics, I'd love to see it.
To answer your question though, a couple have recently sold on ebay (which is always a good way of finding out current values) for about a thousand bucks!!

Hi,

I'm looking to restore my RL20-II and have a set of 1986 Yellow decal kit. Not sure what color frame these decals went on and the correct placement of them. I would appreciate all comments/photos/etc. to help with the restoration. My frame/fork should be an 1986, but not sure how you can tell the differece from an 85,86,87 pre 990 mounts. Thank you all and look forward to my new website.

Best,
James.

Hey James

I'm in the same situation as you. Just about to restore my 1986 Redline RL-20II (I think). Just by looking at the frame and decals, my bike looks a lot like the RL-20II. However, the original model name decal was not there when I got it recently. I was just wondering if you could send me a picture of your bike or a link to your website so that I could check it out. Just to make if my bike is actually the Redline RL-20II to help me find parts for it. Thanks a lot.

Dale

I've got a 85 RL20-II, it's been restored and is pretty much era correct (the only exception being the stickers, they are from an 86). You can check it out here: www.sinisterbikes.com/bmx.htm

You might also want to check out www.vintagebmx.com

Good luck with both of your projects.

Can any body tell me about a odd bike I picked up in trade a few days ago . It is a huffy monoshock.Pivot point in the frame and a very large shock in center. a sq. looking seat and plastic fenders. I think it is a late 70s bike, How rare are these and does it have any collector value? it is in great shape and rides well. Any info at all would help. Thanks Freddie
