Does anyone have an idea what my Torker is worth? I bought it back in 1980, and it is in great shape. It has Tange TX-500 forks, and red Compition II tires on it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The date code is under the bottom bracket - under the crank. List it and we can tell what the year is.

You know Mr. Styler (Wind is first name) aka Mr. Heaven (Hutch is the first name) will be straight pimping - buying things on the low low and selling on the high high.

Seriously, I have to get something off my chest after reading the last three comments...

It is comments like these and in the last coupla times ive checked Oldroads.com that have turned a lot of the old school bmxers out there away, and into other bmx sites.

If u guys dont have any credible comments or u dont want the things adveretised thats cool, but theres no point in knocking someone who is trying to sell some stuff.

Its juvenile 14 year old comments like the ones above that will pretty much take away the credibilty of this site.

Anyways...thats all i gotta say...Peace.

Don't let people rip you off. You got yourself a Darrell Young JMC. It should be worth several hundred on EBAY.
Don't let the sports card dealer CEO get that frame and flip it for some serious cash. I think if it were a HUTCH,
he would need to pay you a visit.

AGE / VALUE:   Webco Hardtail posted by: Steve on 7/11/2003 at 5:35:45 AM
I have a Webco Hardtail hanging up in my garage.
It's been in storage for many many years. I kept it around for my kids one day but as time has past they are not so interested in it. The market has much better looking and lighter ones these days.
It does have the Ashtabula forks, cranks and gooseneck. Aluminum rear wheel and steel front. This was my best race bike I ever had. Many wins and memories. I am the only owner of it and bought it brand new with the tough wheels I think they were called. Not so tough, I broke them. I think I bought it the 3rd week they were on the shelves.
Anyone have an idea what it might be worth these days?

Steve

RE:AGE / VALUE:   Webco Hardtail posted by SchwinnDog on 7/17/2003 at 6:37:54 PM
Hey Steve,
I too have a Webco, love em! They were the cream of the old school days. I also raced one. I think the worth is quite high!. There is a frame on e-bay now with 1 day left at 76.00. If yours is all original and in nice shape, it's worth alot more. Due to the scarcity on e-bay, there quite rare, also. Motomags (Tuff wheels you said) came original on some Webcos.

The whole bankruptcy thing was gone over before on Vintagebmx.com.Basically my wife went on a mad spending spree and managed to not pay the rent for a couple of months. That combined with prior hospital and other bills led us to decide to declare bankruptcy. So now I am trying to re-establish my credit and get my life straight!I contacted Ebay and they have reinstated my account (thank goodness)!!!Now we must be sure not to make the same foolish mistakes with our finances! As for the Hollywood I am still waiting on the pics?Who know's maybe the guy changed his mind due to all of the negative comments and stuff?I wish that we could all just get along ;)!!!!I would never try to ruin anybody elses dealings and expect the same courtesy!Jim

Another stupid attack from an extremely ignorant individual! What does this have to do with anything except for trying to start some sort of flame war?Why don't you (charles) post someplace where your ISP shows up instead of here.I get it you are some sort of coward?I know that going bankrupt is so wrong (heavy sarcasm)! Not like posting things trying to undermind a persons reputation!!!Maybe some day you will grow up and learn how to behave like an adult human being!I have feelings and I do try to deal with others in a fair manner! So I declared bankruptcy I am sure that quit a few others that read this board may have as well!Does that make them evil or you better than them?I highly doubt it does!Well go ahead and post whatever you want.Have fun ;)!May jesus forgive you.

Hey - Leave the man alone! He has taught me the finer EBAY techniques like convincing the seller to close the auction early and to place small bids like a dreamer to bust them low buy it nows.

Need to chime in here. I met Jim at the ole 'Rock' last year. Very nice guy. He is a good Christian man, and a leader in his community. When I met him, he was into Hutch Exel and Windstylers. I believe he has a lot to offer this site, and I will call him my brother. A real stand up guy with more hutch bikes and knowledge than any of you.
