MISC:   Brake pads posted by: Harry on 8/3/2003 at 4:15:43 PM
Hey all, i was wondering where a good place to buy brake pads are that are white pads. I have a set of skyway tuff II's on my bike in the coor white and I'm kinda afraid the black pads will leave big black marks from braking, am I wrong? Where can I get the color pads like I described, I have had them on there before but dont know where I got them.
Cheers,
Harry

FOR SALE:   schwinn predator freeform pro posted by: robert on 8/2/2003 at 5:28:24 AM
i have a complete and really very nice condition schwinn predator freeform pro. it is hot pink and chrome frame and fork. the only thing about it , i could not find pedals laying around for it so i stuck some cheap walgoose pedals on it. if you have some pedals from the era, it would be cool. i built it from frame up. it has peregrince double wall 48's, acs rledge 120psi tires. the tires are the old ones and they were the top rated tire in the 80's. i have pics if you are interested email me! my asking price is $250 or some good parts i need for trade! i really like to trade, so i am looking for 24" lowrider wheels, 24" springer fork, decent used mountain bike parts for my thrasher bike. i would trade straight across for some race face 175mm cranks. thanks

WANTED:   USA Made Hutch Trickstar posted by: James on 7/30/2003 at 10:04:02 PM
Hi,

Ok, here it comes. I'm interested in buying an all chrome US made Trickstar with all NOS parts. I can do without the Aerospeed cranks (I'm sure you saw the Raider on Ebay with aeorspeeds, wow!), but aggressively seeking this bike. Yes, I know how much this bike is worth. Yes, I know how difficult it is to find it. I may be reached at geckoidol1@yahoo.com and if you have what I'm looking and not willing to sell, I welcome pics.

Best regards,
James.

AGE / VALUE:   1989? haro team master freestyler posted by: redracer on 7/29/2003 at 4:18:30 AM
I have a bike, its a haro team master,i think its an 89 but the frame is unlike any other bike i've seen, i think it was for a half pipe or something cuz it has a gaurd under the crank, just wondering if anyone else has seen one of these before and how much it would be worth

RE:AGE / VALUE:   1989? haro team master freestyler posted by brian on 8/7/2003 at 1:05:12 AM
you have a 1989 master. there were two types of frames in 1989, one which was similiar to the earlier years which you are probably used to. the other was a modified version with a bash guard built under the chain ring, but also has a twin top tube like the ealier years. in 1990 they tried to reduce the weight and keep the bash guard and elliminate the twin top tubes. the 1989 had several disadvantages for most because the bash guard did not function as planned, if you landed a grind level it worked fine but if you landed with a slight lean then you still bent or broke the sprocket. i bent alot.....and the weight was difficult to throw around, and once you got the bike around it was hard to stop rotation. haro's remedy to this was an increased size bash guard the following year with a plastic plate instead of alluminum which worked much better. as far as value goes, they don't sell very high like others such as a the older or other version master of 1989. it depends alot on condition which i am sure you know and who you might find that is interested. for instance that is the last bike that i rode so it has sentimental value to me but most others prefer the old style and still pay the retail or more for them, again depending on condition.
