I have this I believe is a 20'' Red BMX Bike, red wheels with a all chrome body with winged handle-grips, regular seat. Seems like more adult foot rests. Might be from the 70's. Would you know what value this might have? No rust, just tires are dry and peeling on the sides where white must have been. Thanks

MISC:   Old Old School BMX Ideal Motocross posted by: Steve on 9/21/2005 at 2:50:44 AM
I recently acquired an old old school bmx. It is by a company called Ideal Cycle and the model is MOTOCROSS. It is similar to a Yamaha MotoBike. Full Suspension, motorcycle like seat, all around cool. I have not been able to find any information on this company or this bike. Any information would be appreciated. I can guess the approximate age to be around 1975 or so. I would like to know an approximate value also. Thanks for any help.

Yo I had one of these in the early 80's the seat tube is meant to go from a larger diameter at BB to smaller at the seat clamp, and was made by Japanese BMX company Tange using tange oval tubing. They were worth a load in those days and were hard to come by, also the taiwanese made copies (which didn't have the double size seat tube.
I hope that help I relise it was last year you posted but if you need more info let me know
