MOTORIZED BICYCLES:   Monark Supertwin posted by: Geo. on 5/9/2007 at 7:26:51 AM
There's a Monark Supertwin for sale on e-bay right now. I found it under Monark in the general catagorie. Not a bad price, I paid more than that for one in worse condition and missing more parts.

MOTORIZED BICYCLES:   Whizzer Schwinn? posted by: Glenn on 4/24/2007 at 9:12:22 AM
Please help! I'm trying to find out info on a Schwinn motorized bicycle. The frame plate in front says Arnold Schwinn & co Chicago. Above it says Henderson with a propeller. The bike has a 1950 license plate on it so I'm guessing it is at least that old. Was told it might be a 39. Where is the frame serial #? Has fold down rear stand and side stand. Springer front end with Schwinn brake. 26" Gillette special service tires. Bendix rear brake. Twin "thumb" throttle controls. Messinger seat. Stewart Warner speedometer. On the left side the motor has 1/m H82791. The bottom of the cylinder has 2204W cast into it. On the right side of the motor it has a round plate that says Patented USA Torrington M-12101-x Flex exhaust pipe, Tillotson carb.
I don't know enough about these kits but hope I have provided enough information to you. Thanks in advance,

The H82791 Whizzer engine puts it at 1946. H engines were used on 46 / 47 and early 48 models. There are serial number charts on this site for the Schwinn bike.

Serial number should be under bottom bracket , or on left rear axle drop out. I think you have aolder bike so I would look under the bike where the pedal crank is.I can give you date of manufacture with this number.
