These are getting to be the most desirable collectable bikes. I've seen them go between the high hundreds and into the low thousands. Then there was the $10,000 Orange Krate in the box on ebay...

RE:RE:MISC:   schwinn orange krate posted by jd on 7/10/2000 at 8:27:54 AM
Actually, prices of Krates have been steadily dropping over the last few months. Only the nicest originals and scarcer models are bringing the big bucks.

MISC:   info on european bike posted by: Paul on 7/7/2000 at 6:07:56 PM
I have an Eroba Special Sport bicycle made in the Netherlands probably in the 60s. I know nothing about bikes and am thinking of junking it even though it's in pretty good shape with all the accessories (3-speed, bell, generator lights, air pump, leather chainguard, pinstriping, etc). Does anybody know if it's worth keeping/selling?

Not a collector's item or anything but don't throw it away.

I am trying to locate someone who can sell me parts for an old AMF junior tricycle. I am trying to find the plastic bushings at the end of the fork that the front wheel rides in. Can anyone help?

RE:WANTED:   amf tricycle posted by rd on 7/7/2000 at 2:44:04 PM
Did you try Texas Pedal Cars out of Ft. Worth Tx? They have a lot of those type of parts.

Have you wandered all over the hardware stores looking at bushings? How about visiting a business that makes bushings?
