The outside if good, also. There is no sun fade to the numbers or letters. On the face, at the bottom, it reads 'Schwinn Aprroved', on the back, says in tiny letters 'Made in France'. FOR SALE:   1955 Evans-Colson "Sonic Scout" posted by: Scott on 8/24/2000 at 5:51:44 PM
I have '55 "Sonic Scout" for sale. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say it's 6.5 - 7. Very good overall.....with nice chrome, "Sonic Scout" artwork on chain guard & tank is in very good condition. Fenders, rack, struts, tires, rims, spokes, frame, seat, & handlebars in excellent condition and original. Tank has "D" cell battery horn built in, and it works. One minor crease type of dent on the right side tank, about an inch & a half long. Other than that the bike is straight and dent free. I have photo's for anyone that requests them. Asking price is $250. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
