WANTED:   Seat for Schwinn Wasp posted by: Tom Jacobs on 6/22/2001 at 4:49:36 PM
I need a seat for my red Schwinn Wasp. Thanks to many of you who responded to my wife's quest to help me relive my childhood/paperboy days by directing her to this bike. I'm not a collector, just someone who wants to ride a bike with balloon tires. I wanted to get a two-tone seat with the "S" on it. I don't mind if the seat is a little shopworn. The Wasp and I are already that way. Also need to find a site that sells new 2.25 x 26 inner tubes. Thanks again for your help. Tom Jacobs, tjacobs3@tampabay.rr.com

FOR SALE:   1980 Schwinn Continental posted by: Gralyn on 6/18/2001 at 6:39:03 PM
The bike is in pretty good original condition. From the serial number - I think it is 1980. It is 27" with 25" frame. That's why I'm selling it - 25" frame...it's too big for me. 10 speed, dual position center pull brakes. If anyone is interested - I will try to get some pix of it and e-mail them.

Price: $45.00
