MISC:   I want to know posted by: Robert on 8/31/2001 at 10:24:51 PM
I just got a frame and it looks like a 20in schwinn. The frame does not have a serial number on it. The guy I got the frame from bought it in mexico and it was redone. He replaced the old schwinn sign with one that says lowrider so I can't tell if the frame is a real schwinn frame. Do all schwinn frames have serial numbers? Is there another way I can tell the frame is a schwinn? I really need help with this one!!

You probably have a lowrider frame. They are sold with the cantilever design for lowrider builders. Does the badge also sport a *ball in the lowrider name?

FOR SALE:   Wooden head badges etc posted by: mark Garvey on 8/30/2001 at 5:25:42 PM
One of my hobbies, other than bicycle riding, is scrollsawing. One of my ideas would be to recreate headbadges in walnut or cherry, or wood of your choice. I am NOT trying to do a big business out of this. It is mostly for my own interest and enjoyment, but I would be willing to do one for a "reasonable" cost. contact me and let me know if you have a favorite design and tell me what size you like and what kind of wood. i will be happy to do one or two.
The same goes for any other design that you may like. I can cut commercial designs, your designs, my designs or whatever you like.
