WANTED:    Schwinn tri-wheeler bottom bracket diagram posted by: bille` on 4/10/2002 at 1:30:42 AM
Amazing though it has seemed, I cannot find a schematic/diagram for the bottom bracket assembly of the Schwinn T&C Tri-Wheeler. The bottom bracket was siezed, and I opened it up and cleaned it out, regreased, and reassebled it. However, when I put it back together it just spins free. I think I'm missing something here. Please help with a diagram. P.S. Schwinn.com sucks for not having crap on their defunct "Heritage" section!!!!

I don't follow your question. The bottom bracket (crank hanger) should spin free.

Are you talking about the rear hub?

Yes, I am talking about the rear hub. The part that contains the 3-speed mechanism, coaster brake, and cogs for the crank hanger and differential.

MISC:   Raleigh Lenton Sports 1950's posted by: John on 4/9/2002 at 7:52:07 PM
I am wondering if there is interest in my (recently deceased)father's Lenton Sports. It was originally maroon he repainted it (with wording, not entirely). I think the mudguards may have been changed but it may have the original Dawes saddle. I can get more details if necessary.
I know it has attracted some interest in the past.

It is currently in Yorks and I am on the South Coast. Likely to go to a restoration charity if a no specific interest.

Is the area you're referring to near the Rifle River in upstate MI? That is nice countyside up there. Do you have any email you could send forms, etc.? Or is it still on the drawing board?

FOR SALE:   Like to know what its worth posted by: Scott on 4/8/2002 at 3:13:08 AM
From what I see in the pictures on the internet I would say its a Sears Spaceliner. Its all chrome the frame and fenders the tank is Blue has a head light and two knobs for lights also has the springer front. ? It has a generator, and turn signals mounted on the rack in back
I would say the condition as far as all parts there 95% and overall without cleaning it and putting new tires on it I would say an 80%. The worst thing is just some surface rust but minor its been in the desert for ever so the tires are very bad but the seat is nice ,Its been under a awning. I would like to sell it but would also like some honest estimates on the price.

MISC:   Shelby Hiawatha posted by: Chris on 4/7/2002 at 5:40:09 PM
I recently came across a boy\girl matching set of Shelby
Hiawatha bicycles. I found nothing like them in the picture
database. I did find that they are dated from 1940 to 1945.
All parts are intact and in very good condition, however,
most of the paint is gone, and some rusting has occoured.
If anyone can help me find the value of these bicycles, or
would like to make an offer for them, please contact me.

FOR SALE:   OLD ARNOLD SCHWINN STEM posted by: Kevin K on 4/7/2002 at 1:22:41 PM
Hi. I've an old AS stem for sale. I know nothing of the balloon tire bikes so I've no knowledge of this stems origin. It has a sharp peak up the center of the stem. Chrome isn't perfect but not junk either. The AS bolt that secures the bars is nice, the AS bolt that secures the stem into the fork shows use. Cleaned up it would look great on almost anything but a show bike. I've also a set of black handgrips that say SCHWINN in long hand writing on them. OLD AND THICK LOOKING. I've got the handlebars too. HUGE. Chrome is so so. $15 plus shipping. Email kbcurvin@aol.com. Thanks, Kevin
