FOR SALE:1969 apple krate posted by: lisa a murphy on 10/21/2003 at 11:57:44 AM
hi..have an apple krate (69 i guess) for sale....very nice original condition....shines up nicely....bought from original female owner....an antique dealer offered 300 but i figure it's worth 350 to 400...
call lisa 603 269 8743

RE:FOR SALE:1969 apple krate posted by Kim on 10/21/2003 at 3:17:12 PM
It is probably worth more than that if it is a 5 speed. You'll get a good response. A collector will buy it. Then you will see it on Ebay for a starting bid of $800.

People, always make sure you research your bike and know what it is worth. Lisa, you should at least know what year it is (look up the serial number on this site)

RE:FOR SALE:   1969 apple krate posted by bb on 10/23/2003 at 6:24:09 PM
This seller agreed to sell this to a collector for $400.00 but then backed out of the deal to get more money. Needless to say the buyer was not happy, and the word of the seller is questionable.

RE:RE:FOR SALE:   1969 apple krate posted by Kim on 10/24/2003 at 1:59:50 PM
That kinda of proves my point. Be sure you know what something is worth before you go to sell it. You may be too high and it won't sell, or you may be too low and someone else will grab your profit.

On another note, though. Once you make a deal, you need to stick to it.
