Hello, due to financial troubles I am forced to sell a 1968 schwinn run a bout in outstanding condition. It has two small dings on the top tube, but thats it. I would like to sell it, but I don't know where I can. I do not have a credit card, so i can not sell through ebay, so any info or offers would be greatly appreciated.

FOR SALE:   '67 CCM Centenial Duomatic posted by: Mark Steacy on 1/10/2004 at 12:47:41 AM
I have a 1967 CCM Centenial Duomatic that has all orginal parts and paint(metalic bronze color). The bike was produced in limited quantities here in Canada to commemorate our Centenial in 1967. It was a two speed bike changable by touching the brakes which was unique (I believe) at the time. I owned this bike as a kid and is in original condition, original seat and fenders and chain guard abit some wear and tear/scratches. Does anyone have any idea what this is worth and whether it is worth fixing up? Thanks, Mark

WANTED:   Peugeot name plate posted by: Ben Corbett on 1/4/2004 at 5:10:03 PM
In have an old Peugeot oval frame with brake and shifter cables inside the tubes. I have no information about the age and would like to find a name plate shield for the front header tube. I have some concerns about the stability of the frame and wonder about having it checked out for cracks, etc. Can anyone tell me how I should go about having it checked out? I can't find any numbers or anything on the frame to identify it.

Wait. If this has the Huret Alvit derailer on it as I think it does it's worth 20.00 for the derailer parts alone.

Other parts on this bike may interchange with other more popular bikes.

Hang it up, stash it somewhere and keep looking for other finds.
Perhaps somebody will come along and give you 50.00 for it.
Just don't do anything rash.

MISC:   How much is this? posted by: Jeremy den Ouden on 12/31/2003 at 8:46:08 PM
I have an old bmx and it says Molokai under the seatpost, it's approx. 25 years old and in excelent condition. I was wondering how much a BMX like this could sell for.

RE:MISC:   How much is this? posted by Stacey on 1/1/2004 at 11:32:49 AM
Put it on eBay. Start it at $9.95 with a thousand dollar reserve on it. Whatever the highest bid is... that's the price it will sell for. The beauty is... with the high reserve you don't have to let it go if the bid only goes to $10.50.

There are several sites and forums dedicated to old school BMX. check them out and ask about values there. Do a search for old school BMX on a search engine.

seems to me like the prices on these are a bit high. I can't imagine the higgins being worth more than 150 if its from the 60's. the others seem high as well especially in the condition you describe them in. If it's one thing I've learned is to be patient. I know you want a bike, but it may be worth waiting and seeing what else comes your way.

They are all over priced for being middleweights, even the Corvette.
