MISC:   73 Schwinn Racer posted by: Jose on 3/30/2004 at 6:42:15 PM
I just found a green 1973 Cchwinn 3 speed racer in a camper that has been in storage. It has schwinn on the handle grips and the chrome is almost perfect. A little rusty aroung the spokes. The peddles look new. any thoughts to what it is worth?

FOR SALE:   1901 Tribune posted by: Bob on 3/26/2004 at 6:32:44 AM
Just bought a 1901 Tribune Men's bike at auction. It has the original (?) wooden rims, although tires are of course flat and heavily damaged. Leather seat is intact. Very cool pedals. I can send pictures if you are interested...very cool old bike. I've seen museum pictures but had not seen the real thing until now.

Hello Bob,

I am restoring a 1902 Tribune Model 70 and I'm nearly finished. I am interested in seeing the photos of your Tribune, if you still have them. I'm curious as to which model it is. Do you still have it?

Thanks,
Dave

FOR SALE - Huge selection of new old stock bicycle parts from the turn of the century right up to late 70’s as well as many bicycles (anything from tricycles to children’s bike as well as ladies and mens bikes). If you are in need of any parts to complete project bikes or if you need anything at all pertaining to cycling we may be able to help you. We are in the process of selling off the contents of a bicycle shop abandoned approx. 25 years ago and was in business for around 70 years - hundreds of tires, tubes, accessories, muscle bike parts, etc. At the same time, if you have anything that you are interested in selling or trading that has to do with cycling we may be able to make a deal. We are also interested in anything that is musical or coin operated.
