Sounds like a "Roadster". Don't know what kind of "help" you're looking for, but the english roadster discussion board here has a lot to offer and you may be able to further identify what model it is at:

http://www.retroraleighs.com

Additionally, assuming it has a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub, they are stamped with the month and year of manufacture. Have a looksee and that will at least give you the age of the bike.

MISC:   1954 Schwinn Jaguar Mark II posted by: Skid on 5/31/2004 at 5:00:06 PM
What would a 1954 Schwinn Jaguar Mark II be worth? The frame paint and decals are very nice. The tank paint is so-so. The chrome is all very very good - slight minor surface rust on the rims, almost none on the fenders. The speedo says 297 miles. Tires are shot-rubber peeled off threads but holding air. Front and rear rack. Photos available. What would this be worth? A friend's dad has bike and looking to sell.

I am interested in pictures of this Jaguar. As stated, my e mail address is sideshowme@hotmail.com. What size is it? Also, where are you located? I would greatly appreciate an ASAP response. Thanks for your time.
