MISC:   Tokyo Katakura Silk bicycle posted by: Jan on 11/17/2005 at 2:20:13 AM
I have a Tokyo Katakura Silk bicycle and am wondering if anyone can give me some information on it. It is black and has a generator and fold out baskets on it. It seems to be well made.

I also have a Katakura Silk bike, a light blue 12-speed, and have been wondering for years what it's worth. I bought it new in Tokyo in 1981.

I have a bazillion reflectors off of every make and model bike you could imagine. Only problem is I would need an exact picture of what you are looking for in order to match them correctly as all my reflectors in a huge pile and not sorted. I have several Hundred bicycles from the 30's-today if still looking email me and I will see if I can help out. bikeguys@hickorytech.net
