Look for a 2 digit date code on the rear hub.
For example, 69 is 1969

MISC:   Murray Stratoflite posted by: Nanette on 6/27/2005 at 10:14:39 PM
I just bought a vintage Murray Stratoflite woman's/girl's bicycle. It is aqua and is complete with basket, handlebar streamers and has a button built into the tank which I assume is a horn? There is a D battery in there that I have to replace. It is rusty, but is cleaning up pretty nicely. It also has a rack on the back. Does anyone have any idea when these bikes were made and what it might be worth? Any suggestions on how to clean this bike up nicely. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks.

Hi! My name is Dean, I own a male Vintage Murray Stratoflite, I am trying to restore it but having trouble finding parts, does your rack have a weird shape light on the tail end? If your interested I would like to buy it. If not then could you please email me any information that you might recieve, please? I can't find any info on these bikes either.
Sincerely,
Dean Anderson
BTW-I will email you any info that i get on these bikes as well.
