FOR SALE:†††found yellow kids bike in parents' shed posted by: Ann O~Connell on 8/28/2005 at 4:35:00 PM
We rediscovered an old yellow kids bike in the shed this weekend and know nothing about it - most of paint saying what it is is rusted off.
It has high handlebars, a gold banana-shaped seat, and is a gold-yellow color. The little plate on the front says it's a Conqueror De Luxe Cycle and that's all I know.

If anyone knows anything about it, I'd love to know!
Thanks,
Ann

MISC:   searching my old trike posted by: wayne on 8/28/2005 at 9:58:17 AM
hello
my name is wayne. i have decided to research some of my childhood toys. one thing i would like to find is my 1st bike (actually a trike). i had so much fun on it. i would ride to top of hill outside my grandmothers house, take my feet off the pedals, roll down the hill, gaining momentum and stop myself from rolling into busy street by way of railings at bottom of the hill. that was the foundation for what ahs been the story of the rest of my life!
anyway, this would heve been in the mid / late 60's. i cannot recall manufactirer of trike (maybe tri-ang), but i can see trike in minds eye. cant ask parents (sadly passed away!). have been doing web seraches to no aavail. if i could get better links to sites maybe i could narrow search.
any suggestions / help will be very much appreciated.
i grew up in surrey, born '64. moved to usa 1980. live in texas usa now.
best
wayne
