MISC:   Goricke??? Help posted by: Carmen on 5/22/2006 at 1:31:29 PM
I bought this 24'' Goricke at a flea market, and I haven't been able to find any info on it, or the company really. All I know is that it is German, and that the company once made mopeds. I found some new Gorickes a website, but haven't found anything on vintage. I would really like to know what it's worth, or at least how old it is. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

My aid is probably pretty lame, but the first thing I thought of; is check your item with German ebay, (ebay.de)

http://cgi.ebay.de/Antikes-zerlegbares-Fahrrad-von-Goericke_W0QQitemZ8811589635QQcategoryZ74470QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

"Artikelnummer: 8811589635"

This item looks a little bit similar and they seem to have other items by Goricke, looks like a motorcycle company as well.

Also, "Artikelnummer: 8811595045"

This other item is selling for a lot of $$.

It could be pretty valuable. Huffman preceded Huffy.
See if you can find a picture of it in the picture database here.
