If you or anyone you know is selling a Fair Lady c. 64'-70' let me know! Im interested in buying.
Are you still seeking the Schwinn Fair Lady? I have one that is completely original. It's Campus Green (Pea Picker) with chrome fenders, 20 inch wheels, has coaster and hand brakes, and is a three speed. It has the original tires and flower banana seat. There are some small scratches here and there, but overall this bike is in very good condition. Let me know. ...
I bought this bike new in 1984. It has all of the original equipment, I was thinking of updating it so I can ride with my kids but wondered if it had any value. It does have some superficial rust on the rear and front reflector brackets and the tires are cracked, other than that it is still in normal operating condition. I can obtain a picture if anyone is interested. Does anyone know where or what kind of replacement tires I would use?
My Dad's old Hawthorne is for sale, Best offer can you help me determine what it's worth without a photo?
Can you find one in the photo database that is a similar model? Condition is very important in determining value. Is it complete? Original paint? Rusty? Answers to these questions will help come up with a value.
Hi All:
I recently aquired these two older 3 speed bicycles. The mans cycle is a Robin Hood & the ladies is a Dunelt. They both belonged to my wife's aunt & uncle which bought them new some years ago.As much info as I know, They where both manufactured by Raleigh in England.I took each for a short ride and all speeds seem to work fine.My 1st question is. Are replacement parts,Such as Tires,Brake pads,And cables available? The tires show some dry rot.The cables have a few pieces of coating missing where they are not sheathed& 1 Brake pad is missing on the rear of the Robin Hood.I was thinking that if parts are available ,Then I would spend a few dollars on these bikes for my wife & myself to ride.Any Information about these bikes would be greatly appreciated.I can send photo's.
Thank You: Doug
