FOR SALE:   PASHLEY PARAMOUNT posted by: Nicky Rai on 6/3/2006 at 5:30:06 PM
I am selling a Pashley Paramount. It is only 6 months old. I just do too many long distances cycles and I need a racer. Though I will be sad to say good buy. Its a nice neo-vintage bike. Needs a good home and good owner.

WANTED:   vintage handlebars posted by: Sylvia Keepers on 6/3/2006 at 1:23:53 PM
I am looking for old (pre-70's) Raleigh or similar handlebars, swept back, 7/8 or 1 inch diameter, about 24 inches wide from center to center. Not the "steerhorn" type, but more the "moustache" shape.

WANTED:   Peugeot Information posted by: John on 6/3/2006 at 3:45:20 AM
Hello vintage Peugeot experts... We're putting an old Peugeot back on the road, and were wondering if anyone could identify it. Would be happy to email pictures, but the serial number seems to be the obvious starting point. Serial number is 786613 (from the left chainstay). It's from the 60s or 70s I think; could this be the PX10?

It appears from the serial number that is a 1967 model. The PX-10 of this era will have chrome stays and Reynolds 531 double butted tubing throughout, including forks. Many times the decals are no longer there, there will still be remnants of where they were (Square one at top of seat tube and on each fork blade near the crown). They will have 5 arm cotterless cranks. There are some good sites to check out: www.classicrendezvous.com, which features a px 10 database, http://home.wanadoo.nl/peugeotshow, this one has Peugeot catalogs with lots of pictures from various years.
There were quite of few of these bikes made, beware there are unscupulous folks that try to pass off lesser models as PX-10's. Good luck to you.

Sorry for the delay Brad. I am not sure on a asking price. Give your email and I can send the pictures. Shipping from Seattle area, what ever the UPS charge is. I really would like to trade for a Sting ray. Let me know your thoughts.

Hi, my friend has one in his bicycle shop and he says there are only 500 ever made. He's been offered A LOT but refuses to sell. Just thought I'd mention that to you.
