Hi, did you ever find a Pink Witch bike for your Mum? I have just turned 60 and also wanted this bike as a child. I don't remember who it was made by but it was bright pink and every girl wanted one.

FOR SALE:   original skyway II's with suntour coaster brake - may swap for Araya/suzues posted by: mr-MetalSkin on 8/30/2006 at 4:35:25 AM
G'day fellow old schoolrs, i'm from Australia , I got a pair of really good condition original SkyWay II's with the metal hubs- not the re-issue crap. i'm selling them because i dont like the coaster Brake(suntour). they're blue in color, and would come up almost new with a good polish. i may be willing to trade for a set of blue Araya/suzues in similar condition or Price Negotiable.
i was going to sell them on eBay but with all the re-issue tuffs it makes it hard to find some-one who knows the difference. i'm pretty sure these are of a 77' - 78 schwin.
if anyone would like pics, just email me. postage will be cheap and not overquoted. be quick! cheers, Dean

I have a black one, from I believe the late 50's or early 60's. I'll check the Sturmey hub tonight. I purchased it from the original owner last year, and its been in my garage ever since. By the way, where do you live?

I have one... all I know at this point is that it is a Hercules 3 Speed Made in Nottingham England

It is my neighbors daughter
she was born in '49
and said she got it when she was around 8
I can check for more markings on the bike, but need to know are you in the US? We are in Illinois near Chicago.
I can take pictures if you need them.

WANTED:   Huffy Miss America posted by: Ami on 8/29/2006 at 11:56:29 PM
Update to my wanted post of 8/27: I found a picture at last of my childhood Huffy and can better identify it. It has "Miss America" written on the chainguard, and the pic is dated 1971. Looks almost identical to a Schwinn Slik Chik bike. Violet frame with chrome fenders, high sissy bar, white flowered banana seat and high wide bars with violet glitter grips! I would love to get my hands on another. It just has to be a Huffy! Any help? Thanks!

I realize this is the wrong color, but it might be a similar bike. This is a blue Huffy with a flowered seat. Unfortunately the seat has numerous tears and it needs a good cleaning, polishing and new tires.
