WANTED:   Stronglight steel 46T chainwheel 3 pin posted by: Peter Martin on 2/11/2007 at 2:55:29 PM
Greetings, I'd like to buy a 46 tooth steel chainwheel for a Stronglight 55 competition crank. It's a 3 arm crank. I'd be interested in a 1/8 or 3/16 wide one. Smaller tooth size would be interesting too.... Thanks, Pete

MISC:   Chicago Tribune Special Bicycle posted by: rob on 2/11/2007 at 12:40:11 AM
Hello all, my neighbor recently gave me his blue and white antique bicycle from the 20’s before he passed away. It had been sitting in his garage rafters for years and he claimed that he had won it in a paperboy contest from the Chicago Tribune where he ran a paper route as a kid, but it seems to be a girls bike so i'm confused. The name plate says “Chicago Tribune Special” in red letters, but the handles bar hand grips are white and stamped sears. It has a brown leather seat with shocks and triangle kickstand that folds back and attaches to the rear fender. I have been searching for info on the web and can’t seem to find anything about it. Has anyone here heard or seen one of these bicycles before? I will try to post some pictures if anyone is Interested in seeing it.
