These mudflaps are on Pee Wee Herman's bike. Does anyone know what they are off? Cut down motorcycle or Vespa? The birds look like Cardinals. Any info would be helpful.
That looks like the "Flying Eyeball" originally designed by Von Dutch, which has since become a classic kustom motif. Check this link for a cast aluminum version, possibly made by Von Dutch himself: http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/968/1002/400/556253/L1040625.jpg
Obviously, some auto accessory maker lifted the design for his own line of mud flaps or whatever.
I'd advise running an eBay search for "flying eyeball reflector", maybe using "Von Dutch" as an additional key term.
Thanks Jim, You're right, I can see it now.
Wanted, for early 1930s bike -- a good used pair of RED ball-end grips. Please email pic and price. Thank you

Does anyone out there know where to get a Chicken Power motor for bicycles?
Your best source is eBay. That's where I found my earlier version of the same engine. "Chicken Power" is the name that Ohlsson and Rice renamed that motorizing setup in the '70s. Prior to that, they called it "OrLine". Probably identical except for the decals. It's a sweet little engine, similar to the Tanaka "Bike Bug" motorizing kit, except rarer. In my opinion, the earlier "Orline" engine kit has more vintage charm. Mine's painted school-bus yellow, with fairly old-fashioned-looking decals.
Several years ago, I paid about $90 for mine, from an eBay seller, and it's in beautiful condition. You should be able to find a similar deal, if you're patient.
I HAVE A CHICKEN POWER MOTOR BRAND NEW IN BOX MAKE OFFER
Time to sell my UO 10. I bought it new at Campus Cyclery in Columbus Ohio in May 1980. I take care of my machinery so it's a good looking and running bicycle, but it has been my commuter for the past three years (it saw rare use before then) so it's not a museum piece. Rear wheel tagged by a car a while back, so I bought another used Rigida wheelset to replace it...not the same Mafac hubs, though. I have both original wheels and both replacement wheels. The original saddle is long gone and I added some fenders early on, otherwise it's pretty much original. Located in Houston TX.
