FOR SALE:Any interest? posted by: keith on 3/6/2007 at 6:13:19 PM
Hello,
I have an old Specialized Stumpjumper Team mountain bike. I believe it's an 89 or 90. Looks to be all original except for grips and some added bar ends. This was the purple and white model with the Prestige tubing frame and XT kit. Any interest out there? Thanks!

FOR SALE:Need chrome Schwinn S2 wheels posted by: Ed. Torbeck on 3/5/2007 at 7:30:24 PM
I need two chrome Schwinn S2 wheels to complete a vintage bike project. They don't have to be perfect, but need to be presentable. I will be lacing a three speed hub in the rear wheel to enable my old legs to pedal the bike.
I would also consider S7 wheels.

Thanks,

ed.

I'm looking for a nicer japanese touring frame, 55-56CM. Something along the lines of a Miyata 615, Panasonic touring deluxe. A 650B Raleigh Portage would be nice as well.

Hi James,
This is off topic but do you know anything about the Miyata 615 bike? Is is a true touring bike i.e. can it be equipped with racks and panniers for an extended summer bike tour of Europe? Or is it really a road bike? Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Karen

FOR SALE:old bike pumps posted by: Craig on 3/4/2007 at 9:05:06 PM
I have found a few old ... old ... bike pumps in my grandparents garage. I am getting lucky looking around my familys attics lately. I recently found an untouched 1960's tandem bike in my aunts house. As far the old air hand pumps, would anyone be interested in them??? I dont think they work ... they do pump up and down ... but no air is coming out. If anyone is interested I can send u a pic of them incase this pic does not show up on the site ... I am not sure what they are worth ... you tell me what they might be worth to you ...

I have fixed a lot of old pumps just by replacing the leather. I have gotten a couple from Harris Cyclery if you are in the Boston area. You need the barrel size and they can mail. They have more vlaue working.
