FOR SALE:   English roadsters and parts for sale posted by: David Poston on 6/5/2007 at 8:09:44 AM
Hello everyone, I've been away for a while.

I am in the process of cleaning out my garage and divesting myself of the huge storehouse of roadster parts (and cycles) I've collected over the past 4 years. While I could get more money on e-bay by selling off individual parts, I'd rather sell them to anyone here interested in lots at a cheaper price. I have parts from rear racks, NOS wartime era headlamps, tyres, handlebars, Lucas bells, cables, shifters, etc. I also have several cycles for sale, including a men's Raleigh DL-1 28" roadster, women's verson of the same, rare 1931 Sunbeam on 26" wheels, and a couple of 1960s era Raleigh Sports. I'd rather not ship the cycles, but I can ship the parts. If anyone is interested in parts or cycles, please e-mail me and we can discuss. I'll take some photographs. If you live in the Houston area, please stop by and have a look.

Thanks,
David.

I'm refurbishing my old Raleigh Rudge, bought new in The Hague in 1954 when I was 11. Resurrected it from my parents' basement, and I'm restoring it for my own use.. Mechanically sound, but I'm missing three parts on the chaincase: The large disk that surrounds the right-hand pedal crank, and the two sheet metal parts that slide in around the left-hand side of the rear hub. Do you have these parts? Thanks!

WANTED:   Front Fork 1 inch - needed for Cannondale Mountain Bike. need 8 1/2 inch threaded posted by: Tom Barry on 6/3/2007 at 7:59:02 PM
Does anyone know who makes 1 inch forks with a 8 inch or better stem. I tried a fork with 7 3/4 and it came out short. It is for a cannondale Mtn bike, but at this rate, I'm willing to use a road bike front end just to get it rolling. HELP
