FOR SALE:   1974 Raleigh pro 54cm frame posted by: Jim Symons on 1/23/2008 at 3:13:22 PM
I have a silver and black 1974 Raleigh Pro for sale. I bought it new in 1975 through a friend that worked a Raleigh. It's 21 1/4 " or 54cm C to T. I've probably ridden it 150 miles or so in the first few years and then lost interest. It's been stored in my garaged since. It's all original, campy record, sewups, reynolds 531 gb bars etc, except for the replaced Brooks saddle which was since lost. I can send pictures. Ojai Jim 805 646-9645

MISC:   I have a Schwinn Voyageur u 8 posted by: Travis on 1/23/2008 at 12:03:24 AM
I am looking for some information on a Schwinn Voyageur U 8 and i am about to build it up with some new parts such as new headset, different bar, and maybe a new back rim. This is just a winter second bike, but its in good condition. It has some chrome showing on the back by the bottom bracket. So is it worth it to fix this up? It seems like it is.So if anybody has any info on where to find a new stem for it,or what its worth(probably just around 200.00).The frame is double butted 4130 steel. I am also looking for a 58cm late 70's Motobecane columbus steel frame set or whole bike if anyone has one out there . Thanks

I have a Voyageur 11.8, that was the weight in kilos. I bought it new about 1980. Sounds like you are missreading the label. I do not recall a Voyageur with a U label but I amno expert.

FOR SALE:   Looking for a VVVintage Representative posted by: Philip on 1/21/2008 at 11:25:49 PM
I bought a "vintage bicycle cleaning kit" from this website and money was taken out of my bank account on 1/8/07 but I have not received the kit nor have I heard a peep from whoever took my money... (It is now 2 weeks later). I've looked through this site and can't find any way of contacting a representative to find out where the kit is. Are any of you reading this??
