WANTED:   Huffy "Dill Pickle" posted by: TeNeil on 4/5/2008 at 6:08:40 PM
I am on a mission to find a Huffy Dill Pickle...that bike was a huge part of my childhood, it was passed down to me by my sister. She turns 40 this year and I would love to surprise her with a piece of our childhood. If anybody has one, or knows a good place to look, please let me know. Thank you

MISC:   Raleigh Winkie trike posted by: Maureen Purcell on 4/2/2008 at 5:44:26 PM
I have the bones of a 1972 Raleigh Winkie( mid to dark metallic blue originally) which my kids rode and adored and was probably manufactured in the '60s in England but was got in Ireland. It's in a sorry state now, rusted and battered, the frame might be ok but it doesn't have original pedals or seat I think, not that they would work now at all!I would love to get it restored for the grandchildren. I have tried through the internet to get parts or a restorer in Ireland or in England without any success.Would any of your readers know of any place where I can get parts or get it restored or maybe buy one to use for parts? I think if I were to buy a newly restored Winkie would cost far too much. Maureen P. ( southern Ireland)

FOR SALE:   Elgin twin 40, 50, 60 tanks posted by: Joe on 4/1/2008 at 6:52:24 AM
I have reproduciton Elgin Twin 40, 50, 60, bicycle tanks for sale. I purchased a twin 20 years ago and it had this tank was on the bike. I was told that when the final production of twin 60's were completed they utlized the remaining tanks on twin 20's to deplete the stock. Sounds like a good story. If you are intested in buying a tank please let me know.
