FOR SALE:   Miyata 1000 Blue Nice For Sale posted by: Lane on 8/12/2006 at 1:47:11 AM
I have a nice Miyata 1000 I need to sell. It is a larger frame which I think is a 25 inch. Blue and original. I am near Hagerstown, Maryland and travel throughout the western and central area to arrange delivery. Make offer.
Thanks, Lane

AGE / VALUE:   Motobecane Grand Touring 888 Vitus posted by: John on 8/11/2006 at 10:20:55 PM
I was wondering if anyone can tell me the estimated value of my Motobecane Grand Touring. The seat post has a label that states it's an 888 Vitus frame. The seat is an Italia stella. It appears to be from the early 80's as far as I can tell. I don't really know what else to say about it but I'll post a picture so you can see it. I hope the link works, it's in my myspace page.

I posted a message a few days ago, but no response, so I am checking again to see if anyone knows anything about a tricycle with ECC it, pretty old red one with white pedals. Any help would be appreciated.

Can someone tell me where I can buy a 23mm crank puller for T.A. cranks? Both Park and VAR used to make them, but I can't find one anywhere.

What I need is a Park CCP-1 or a VAR #393.

biketoolsetc.com normally has the VAR tool (and some others) but they seem to be out of stock now. The Park tool is regularly seen on Ebay.

Harris Cyclery is out of them, too. Yellow Jersey sent me an email at 2a.m. saying they have them. I'm going to buy two just in case I damage one.

I have an OLD version of the Park tool that is double sided...one side in the standard 22mm and the other is the TA size. Of course the current model just has the 22mm, so I waited for one of the old ones to appear on Ebay and snagged it.
