There is a new parts dealer whom I believe may be selling
fair priced hubs for your bike. His website is listed
on my website at:http://www.angelfire.com/dbz/forum
He is listed under "roadhogsbicycles". I have checked
out his parts and he has some very nice pieces for those who do not
have to have original schwinn parts.
Good luck, Christian

I will have to stay inside and clean blackboards because I do not know. Does this mean I have to go to Poland? I will ask. I sit here with my stomach churning, looking at the screen like a sorry idiot. I think I would know by now. Folks keep asking about bikes I have never heard of and it drives me nuts.

RE:MISC:   what the hell is a Tyler? posted by DeathIncarnate on 9/10/2000 at 4:38:21 PM
yeah, thanx, that was ever so helpful. wow, you have enlightened me, from now on I won't ask any questions that you don't know the answer to so I don't upset you. or even better, next time you don't know the answer, just shutup. I wasn't asking you. I was asking someone who has a clue. I understand that it made you feel better to be a smart@$$. Nobody's impressed. I just want to know where the frame came from. your frustrations mean nothing to anyone. next time you have a witty comment, keep it to yourself. no one else wants to hear it. just go play with Pooh and leave me alone.

WANTED:   stingray frame and Harley-style springer posted by: DeathIncarnate on 8/31/2000 at 1:04:11 AM
I'm looking for a stingray frame or similar that needs a
repaint. I'm building a custom musclebike and need frame.
Also looking for a Harley style springer fork. Harley springers
had two seperate rods, one connected to the head, with a swing-
arm at the bottom, connected to which is the axle and another rod,
which pushes vertically mounted springs in front of the head.
these travel vertically, not fore-and-aft, like the usual
musclebike girder springers. also, at a metals recycling facility,
I found(and rescued) a blue schwinn 16 inch musclebike, all
original. the paint is shot, as is all the chrome. on a 1-10 scale,
it is a 3.5. I was wordering if it would hurt the value if I were to
customize it with a flame paintjob, some apehangers, and a custom
built springer.I am also wondering if the 3-speed sturmey archer from
an english light-weight can be adapted to a 20inch wheel. I was thinking I
could compensate the gearing with a larger front and smaller rear gear.
will this work. any help would be appreciated. thanx

WANTED:   musclebike frame cheap and harley springer posted by: DeathIncarnate on 8/30/2000 at 10:31:30 PM
I need any stingray style musclebike frame preferably
with a tank, in poor condition that I can repaint. I am
building a custom musclebike and have apehangers with blue
sparkle grips, and blue sparkle banana seat. need info on
seat. it is rubber(I think) and the cover is one piece and
wraps all the way around thebottom. also looking for any
Harley style springer front ends. these are different from
the usual girders as they have 2 pivot points and two
seperate rods with springs mounted vertically and move
vertically, not fore-to-aft.also, I know gt dyno has in
their kustom kruisers line tires called "fireball super
slicks". they have a hotrod flame tread pattern. are these
available in 20inch size?any help would be good. thanx

WANTED:   Sears SCREAMER posted by: Ccass on 8/30/2000 at 2:18:47 PM
I am still looking for a Sears Screamer! HELP! It is not the one pictured on this site. I am looking for the one that had a 1/2 sissy bar, springer(rear only) and most importantly a "Mag" rear wheel & slick.....not the spoked wheel. I believe it was a 1972 or 1973? I believe it was only available as a 3 speed. My original was green & yellow. Will pay good money or trade for the Screamer, chopper or Sears Spider I have. 215-712-7400 ask for Chris.

Saw that. Wonder if the owner knows what he has?

RE:WANTED:   Sears SCREAMER posted by Conrad on 8/31/2000 at 6:42:12 PM
One sold on ebay not too long ago but it was missing the mag rear rim(it was a regular spoke rim 3-speed screamer 2). It went for around $150. Very hard to find with the rear mag rim still intact. There are some nice pictures of a mag wheel Screamer 2 at the Musclebikes and Musclecars website: www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Speedway/3808/ in the "readers Musclebikes" section.

Everything is original and in great shape. The seat has a slight rip on the side that is it. The chrome is excellent. The decals and paint is in very very good shape. The tires are red lined tires. A must have for any collection. Photos are available ($500)
