I'm getting ready to clean-up/restore my good old Stingray. I am wondering about something. Mine has a european made "sprint" front sprocket that I have never seen on any other Fastack instead of the mag style sprocket. Anyone know about this? I loved this bike so much, I used to wax it. The one part I know I need is a front fender. If anyone is interested I'll post a picture.
I've seen them in the US with a sprint sprocket and sprint derailleur. I think the earlier Fastbacks were set up this way. You might find something in the "Sting-Ray Summary" on this site.

The bike co-op where I volunteer recently received a CCM Cougar (girls frame). I don't know much about this sort of bike, but it's obviously a Canadian imitation of the Schwinn bikes. This one seems all original, though in med. rough shape. It's a greenish yellow in colour, and the chainguard has paw prints on it. The 3-speed Sturmey shifter mounts on the top tube, though it is the reg. kind, not the stickshift, and seems like it was there from the beginning (al cables and housgins sems original).
There sems to be no info on this bike on the Net, so I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about them. The bike works, and just needs some TLC, so we'll fix it up and sell it off, as I doubt it's worth much, but it'd still be nice to find any info on it.
probably worth a big 0$, thats why there is no info on it
i would not spend a dime restoring it
Well, it now seems to be worth something to somebody! I just had an offer of $100 as is for the little beast. Oh, and I had the name wrong - it's a CCM Cheetah, not Cougar (insert female "cougar" joke at own risk).
I just picked up blue cheetah at a local junk store for 10 bucks. Im overhauling it completly and then hoping to resell it for some extra cash. Any idea how much I may be able to get for it? Do you know where to find in historical info?
I also just got one, however I'm unlucky, mines pink lol, tires are nice to, the front ones an odd aize, but this bike is in very good shape, do any of you know the year of it?
hey awhile back someone emailed me and they were selling a 20" red ross barracuda boys bike with trike axle, does anyone know who this was??? I now need to contact them!
if anyone can help (or has ross biks or parts or iverson bikes and parts) please email me, thanks: firstname.lastname@example.org
I need a little help. I need someone to take a good clear close-up picture of the older 60s Murray Wildcat headbadge decal with a ruler next to it. A close-up of the seat post decal would help as well.
