hi there.

i've got a bike that i've been told is a Columbia Jr. (I can email pics)
I cant find any pics of one anywhere though? Has anyone got one or have pics?

I have an old schwinn stingray from when I was a kid-- It still has the sticker from which store it came from!! frame is goldish yellow with red trim and seat is schwill red & yellow I won at a McDonalds when I was a child!! How do I find out age-- only # I saw was a e0 or Q 588885 Please help!! bike is still in mint cond!! original tires and everything please help!! thanks I have pics I just dont know how to post!!

Schwinn never used letters 'I' or 'O' in their serial #'s because they were too close to resembling numbers '1' & '0'; the letters of serial # is EQ, meaning your Stingray was made in May 1979, and the 'goldish' hue is called Golden Yellow. If you're looking to sell, wait for the highest bidder! Good luck!

Hi, for sale is a '79 dated Sturmey archer 36 hole front drum brake. the chrome is mint and it spins nicely and the brakes work. the cad good but could use replating. the original cable barrell and stop clamp with bolt are included.
im asking 150 obo or i will trade for stingray parts, beater krate parts, or project bikes. if you would like pics just email me and ill send them.thanks

Don't know if these are available in the States yet or what. I find it interesting that the seat is more the "proper" Chopper style seat (i.e.- SINGLE PIECE) that what they are bolting on to the "new" Choppers.
