Hello, When I was a puppy the thing I lusted for most was a red chopper. Can anyone tell me anything about these ultra cool items? Is there a website that has anything I could read? How much were they back in the day? Who made them? Pics? Anything?

I have two schwinn fastbacks Iam putting together and I can use some help. One is a 1970, blue and in unrestored condition but needs a chain guard, a rear fendor, and handgrips. The fork has been changed and I would like to put one on that matches the original old blue paint. Same for the chain guard. The other one is a 1968. What colors did they use that year? That one I sandblasted and I want to make a nice collector piece for my gandson. I also need a chain guard for that, plus a derailur. Thank you and I Will apppreciate any help you may have

You can find out what years the Fastbacks were made with which colors by looking at the "Sting-Ray Summary" under the "General Resources" section here at oldroads.
