AGE / VALUE:   Schwinn Fair Lady Sting Ray posted by: Tom on 7/12/2007 at 10:13:26 AM
I'm not sure I'm in the right area here, but maybe someone can help. In the garage I have a pink Schwinn banana seat bike, which might be a Fairl Lady Sting Ray. Or maybe not. Perhaps from the eighties? The serial # is SC105654. Can anyone help me ID this bike? Any value? Thanks.

I have a 1966 fastback, 5 speed with skinny tires and rims. I put a springer front end on, and I want to know if I can use tires and rims off the Krate bikes. Will they fit? Also, what is the major difference between the fastbacks and the krates? Thanks, Tim

I have come across a (I think) 1967 schwinn Fastback 5 speed in campus green missing the seat and sissy bar I'm trying to find out how to do research to find more info. I thought I had a HC79679# from the back tire ??? any help would be great, it's a cool bike and would love to restore it.

I have had one since I was 8 or 9. I am curious to see:
A) what it's worth,
B) how to find parts to restore it,
C)I'd also like to see the model listed here on the amf chart..(i don't see it).

I know it's ultra rare, that likenesses cannot be seen on the internet. I almost had to donate it, but I ran a check to see what it may be worth. I know it's in the $ thousands+ category.. I will keep you all posted. I need to get a digital camera or something to send the pic.
