I have an vintage Union headlight that is powered by a generator. The back light works, as well as the wire that connects to the headlight, so i know the generator and wire are functioning. The bulb isn't burnt out either. When i take it apart, i can't figure out why the thing isn't working. Anybody have any tips?

I would recommend (obvious) changing the bulb. If that fails, try cleaning the contact between the bulb and the metal piece it touches. A nail file or emery board usually works well. You had the right idea following the circuit through from the generator to the bulb. It sounds like you stopped short.
