FOR SALE:   Schwinn Starlet posted by: Bridget on 9/28/2010 at 9:11:08 PM
I have an old Schwinn Starlet I found I would like to sell. i don't really know anything about vintage bicycles and this one is not in the best condition. The rust seems to come of pretty easily so over the next few days I will hopefully be able to remove all the rust. Like I said, I don't really know anything about this bike so any information about it is greatly appreciated!

I have many more pictures of the bike here: http://oldroads.com/oldwebs.asp?uploadid=777

I suggest you find the serial number and determine your bike's age. There's a Schwinn serial number list on this site. Also, go easy on the cleaning; condition's not that bad.

What You Need To Know: This bike is NINE FEET LONG and has the turning radius of a truck - It is a great path cruiser and parade bike but don't think you'll be doing any wheelies with it!

I came across a 1982-1983 Huffy 3 wheel bike called a Slingshot. I was told it was a Prototype mfg'd in 1982 or 1983, but no serial numbers anywhere. Can anyone tell me what it's worth?? It's red in color, one wheel in front and two wheels in the rear, joy sticks for steering.
