If you have pictures, you can start a page on the Readers Rides section of this site. Or you can submit it to the Picture Database. (Then, return to this thread and tell us where to find it.) You can check the Resources area for a serial number list to find when it was made. And if you're selling it, you should specify in what part of the world it is located.

WANTED:   Headbadge Rivets posted by: Terry Smith on 9/10/2011 at 12:57:27 PM
I am looking for brass rivets that are used to attach head badges. I have a 70’s Raleigh Competition I am trying to restore and I cannot find rivets of any kind to attach the head badge back on.

I see that some years used pop rivets and some years solid rivets. I would be satisfied with anything at this point.

MISC:   old sidewalk bicycle posted by: dee on 9/6/2011 at 2:16:18 PM
Hello, I'm new at this, but I have a question I'm hopeing some-one can help me with.We have a childerns bicycle, we do believe it is 1960-1970, maybe earlier, the tires are solid rubber, it has no chain just front wheel pedaling, the wheels are about 10", it is about 14 - 16" in height, it has a long frame body, the front looks like it has a place for a fake headlight., My father in law believes it is one of those bikes that you saved up S&H stamps and bought thur a catalog. If anyone could tell me who made this and what year it is, That would be great. I will send a picture to anyone who thinks they could help me.

WANTED:   Raleigh Sports Fenders posted by: Ornery on 8/27/2011 at 5:16:14 PM
Good afternoon, and thanks to Vin for maintaining this site. I must say, it's very unusual from what I'm used to. I'm here because I'm in search of some fenders for a Raleigh Sports. I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to search the for sale items. Hoping somebody stumbles across this post and emails me. Yes, that's a legitimate, functioning address.

Fenders I'm looking for would have the heavy stays, rather than wire, and the molded reflector housing. No concern about the color. Condition could be rusty, but not dented up.
