MISC:   1950's Phillips Indian Princess - Mint! posted by: Lauri Houllahan on 3/22/2009 at 3:57:29 PM
My brother-in-law found an Indian Princess 3 speed bicycle in his garage. It's in mint condition, apparently made in England in the 1950's?? Does anyone know the value of the bicycle? He is looking to sell but would like an accurate price range before doing so. Thanks in advance to any and all who can provide insight!

Great bikes. Made in England. Look for a 2-digit date code on the rear hub.
Lots of info on them in the archives here.
There is at least one listed in the Used bicycle price guide above.

WANTED:   Cones For Road Bikes posted by: AJ on 3/13/2009 at 12:06:56 PM
I seek advice / parts for purchasing.
Have about 100 bikes, mostly From lates 60's, 70's and 80's, mostly road bikes(Schwinn, Raleigh, Panasonic, Fuji, few Europeans bikes. ) Almost all use 27" wheels, not that it is directly relevant here.

About Half of them could use their cones replaced. Many of the new replacements have wrong threading, and perhaps not the same curvature.

I prefer just gettign the cones and maybe spacers.
But coudl use a few axles if needed to complete a deal.
Any help is appreciated
Call 323 490 3006 or 517 410 6306

Located in Lansing, Michigan
THanks for your time and efforts
