We also have a tricycle with what I thought was the name Olson on the front below the handlebar, then discovered is an initial letter "C" surrounding the name -- so the name is Colson it also states Elyria, Ohio. We are in beginning of search for info, but thought the name Colson might help you in your search for info. You should try searching Colson Tricycles

Hi, I also have an old Foremost, has the tank w/ light, whitewalls, no idea how old it is but I'd guess at least early 60's as it resembles my dad's 50's Schwinn and JC Higgins bikes. I have it taken apart, with the intention of making it more closely resemble my dad's bikes, i.e., springer, more chrome, different tank, etc. That is, if it's possible to do so, I'm trying to find that out now.
As far as value, all I can say is that I got my bike for free, and aside from looking old and scratched up, it worked perfectly. So they probably aren't worth all that much.

I have a foremost bicycle also. The previous owners of my house left it behind. It is fully operational, but quite rusty. If you have received any info about these bikes regarding value, let me know. I'm trying to decide if I should fix it up.

SWAP MEETS:   Pana (Illinois) Antique-Classic Bicycle Show and Swap Meet posted by: Eldon Hammond on 3/17/2004 at 2:57:59 AM
This year Pana’s 4th Annual Antique-Classic Bicycle Show and Swap Meet moves to Kitchell Park in the very spacious Chautauqua Pavilion (over 11000 sq. ft.). The date is June 26th, 2004, 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. There will be several classes for bicycles manufactured up to the 1980’s, Classic Scooters (through 1965) And Classic Motorized Bicycles. This event has grown in the last three years and Pana’s Chamber of Commerce is putting a large effort in making it even better. As in the past very generous Trophies will be given in each class (see: www.geocities.com/bikes62557). In the past this event has been held downtown in conjunction with Pana Heritage Days Street Fair but this year since it has grown it will be held at the same time and just across the park road from the Pana Midstate Classic Car Show. Admission is free to the public for both events and large crowds are expected for this joint venture. Be sure to be there as it will be a great day for Bike and Car enthusiast alike. Call 217-562-2813 for information or go to web site listed above.

Mey, I just picked up a bike and could not make out the name. Looks like AMF or GMF out of cleveland from what I could tell. It looks like it's from the early 50s late 40s. Serial # is B18561 then next to it is 548 or 546.
If anyone could point me in the right direction as to who made it and the year I would be very grateful. thanks, chris
