WANTED:   TOP brand bicycle posted by: Shirley on 9/25/2002 at 4:01:11 AM
HELP!!! My husband and i recently purchased an old bike. i have never heard of this bike, but it's a cool looking bike..It's called TOP and it's a 20 inch, pastel pink bike. has an odd looking kick stand with a spring on it and it's hooked on the back of the bike and when in use, it picks up the back tire.(like a stationary bike). I would like to know of anybody having any information on this brand of bike-possibly the approximate age of the bike. Thanks for any responses..

Have a brand name bike of "coast to coast" that look like a STINGRAY in every sense of the word. I suspect it is from a coast to coast hardware store and maybe produced by Schwin. Has the banana seat and is build solid. purchased over 25 years ago. Thanks for any info.

WANTED:   repair manual posted by: Dominic PIlch on 9/12/2002 at 5:58:42 AM
I have a '79 Batavus Moped and I am having an extremely difficult time finding out where I can get parts, manuals, information, etc.. I took books out of the library that date back to '77 and got the address to Batavus Bikeways Inc. in Atlanta, GA. I just called information and there is no such company in the Atlanta area. It ran at one point, and it quit running on me. It might be a carb problem or an ignition problem... Any information would help. Thanks.

MISC:   Columbia Model 51 posted by: Glenn on 8/31/2002 at 6:44:08 PM
Hello-
I purchased an interesting bike today and I came right home to look it up on the Internet. I am an old car guy and know little about bicycles. The one I found is a Columbia Model 51, ladies bike. It appears to be complete and original, right down to the paint and tires. Another site said it was the first chainless model made in 1898. I am very curious as to it's worth and collectability. I would be very grateful if someone would please help me with these questions. Thanks.
