Now that the Schwinn's collector area is down, where do most people go to talk about bikes?

I think you're looking at it. There isn't a lot of action under this particular section of the site, but the for sale, musclebike, ballooner, english, lightweight and old school bmx topics get a lot of action.

There's a forum on angelfire but it only serves a few guys and they talk about a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with bikes. The forum moderator recently posted some porn on that site saying that he wanted to liven things up. Go figure.

The porn was posted by an imposter and was removed the same day, as were the insulting and off subject remarks. It's a good forum with lots of cool people.

STUPID BIKE TRICKS:   Ouchy posted by: Cam on 2/15/2001 at 7:02:22 AM
Jamming 4 lengths of cut-off forks to create my ultimate chopper, only to have them fall off on my first 15 mph wheelie.

Riding in the snow and doing ok until the rear fender jammed with snow causing the real wheel to lock up and me to high-side.

Sticky front brake on sand.

Bike ramps (jumping)

Foot caught in front spokes while trying to dislodge a leaf.

MISC:   Identify an Object posted by: Rick on 2/13/2001 at 12:04:02 AM
I'm trying to identify an object I found in my Dad's basement. It says Persons-Majestic MFG. Co. Worchester Mass. on it. It's shaped like a bicycle light, except where the lens would be is just an opening. Inside is some type of fan blades. There is also a row of openings around the side of the fan blades. The back looks like it might go against the tire like a generator. If any one can help me figure out what this is, and/or what it might be worth, if anything, I would appreciate it. Please e-mail me at inctrl@juno.com. Thank you.
