Willow bicycle baskets made to measure - reproductions a speciality
I'm an English basketmaker from a basketmaking family (4th generation) who also is a cyclist. I specialise in making bike baskets, including reproductions of baskets for old bikes. The baskets don't have to be a single colours. My grandfather used a variety of different colours of willow in the baskets he made for bikes both before and after the second world war and so do I.
You can find a wide range of pictures of different bike baskets on my website: http://hembrow.eu/bicycle.html
Also there are pictures of customers bikes with my baskets fitted (there are delivery bike baskets further down the page): http://hembrow.eu/variousbikes.html
I'm also willing to make almost anything from willow. Just get in touch and ask. They can be mailed to locations worldwide quite economically.
My contact details are on the website, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
You can also read my cycling articles. Amongst them are the record of a visit we made to the Velorama cycle museum, a number of pictures of old English delivery bikes, reviews of bikes and ride stories:
Standard 14' wide front bike basket (available in a range of colours, or plain buff if you prefer).
Reproduction butcher's bike basket
Basket for a customer in Cambridge with an English 3 speed bike.
My own 3 speed town bike with matching baskets front and back.
