Mikers stable of oldies
Just some of my old bikes. I like finding, fixing, cleaning and riding them. Most have come from garage sales and flea markets. I am always looking for any information on these bikes so feel free to drop me a line if you can.
The Shopkeeper. Age unknown.
This bike is badged as a Fleetwing but was made by Columbia.
I am not sure of the age. I would guess late 50s to mid 60s.
It is a 26' single speed with a coaster brake. By far the best looking bike I own. I picked it up at an antique flea market.
My 1959 Raliegh sports. Sitting on the bench in my shop. I bought this bike from my boss who bought it brand new in 1959. I have yet to do anything to it. It's a three speed sturmey archer internal hub shifter with a coaster brake.
It has the brooks racing saddle and is in very good shape.
This is my 1953 Schwinn American Deluxe. My friend
'Lone Wolf' picked it up for me at a swap meet. It is a 26' two speed with a coaster brake. It rides great and is a lot of fun.
This is a 1971 Columbia Tourister 3 that was given to me. I have no idea what to do with it. It has a three speed sturmey archer shifter and hand brakes. It is in really good shape and seems to work well but my god it is the strangest looking bike I have. If anyone is interested in buying it please feel free to contact me at email@example.com.
